Among the activities to support Kids’ Chance Awareness Week, a request was sent to Georgia Governor, Nathan Deal, asking that the week of November 14 – 18, 2016 be recognized. Governor Deal issued a Gubernatorial Commendation noting Kids’ Chance of Georgia as the founding member of 36 organizations that make up Kids’ Chance of America.
Thank you, Governor Deal, for recognizing the mission of Kids’ Chance of Georgia and supporting the efforts of Kids’ Chance of America to promote national awareness.
In order to reach our goal of raising $25,000 for 25 years, the Kids’ Chance Fundraising Committee has made the decision to postpone the 5K Run until September.
This decision is made with high hopes that more people will get involved and help us make this event a huge success!
If you are interested in joining the Volunteer Run Committee, please contact Event Chair, Jeff Stinson.
Thank you for your continued support,
Kids’ Chance of Georgia, Inc.
