Kids' Chance Awareness Week November 11-15, 2019

November 11-15, 2019 is officially known as Kids' Chance Awareness week in Georgia, thanks to a proclamation issued by the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp. Governor Kemp chose to designate this week to recognize the important work done by Kids' Chance of America to help the families of injured workers in their states. The proclamation was issued in order to increase the visibility of Kids' Chance organizations across the country and to spread the word about scholarship opportunities.

Kids' Chance of Georgia has been helping children of Georgia's injured workers for over 30 years.Kids' Chance of America is a national nonprofit that creates, assists and supports organizations across the United States that provide educational opportunities and scholarships to the children of workers who were seriously injured or killed on the job.

Kids' Chance Memory Quilt, created from t-shirts from past events, raised over $500 in a raffle during the 2019 GA WC Board Annual Conference.
