Kids’ Chance Awareness Week November 12-16, 2018
November 12-16, 2018 is to be officially known as Kids' Chance Awareness week in Georgia, thanks to a proclamation issued by the governor of Georgia, Nathan Deal. Governor Deal chose to designate this week to recognize the important work done by Kids' Chance of America to help the families of injured workers in their states. The proclamation was issued in order to increase the visibility of Kids' Chance organizations across the country and to spread the word about scholarship opportunities.
Kids’ Chance of Georgia has been helping children of Georgia’s injured workers for 30 years. Help us celebrate this milestone by contributing our $30 for 30 campaign to fund college education. Our campaign, launched during Kids’ Chance Awareness Week, will continue through the end of the year. Make this part of your charitable tax deduction for 2018.
Kids' Chance of America is a national nonprofit that creates, assists and supports organizations across the United States that provide educational opportunities and scholarships to the children of workers who were seriously injured or killed on the job.
Congratulations to Ann Bishop, who is the 2018 recipient of the Howard R. Osofsky Kids’ Chance ICLE Auction Award. This award is given annually to a member of the workers’ compensation community to recognize their commitment and dedication to the goals of Kids’ Chance of Georgia.
